Photography these days demands more and more time in front of a computer. I’ve been feeling that I needed get away from the computer for my creativity, and get back to making something more analogue. Cyanotypes! predating blueprints, cyanotypes offer the hand made creativity and magic of making prints in the dark room. Using images from my Superstructures series, and architectural drawings from the buildings I had photographed and overlaid the images to create cyanotypes that combine the abstract and literal representations of the buildings.

There is still a magic feeling when you see the cyanotype image come to life, like watching a print in the developer.
